Welcome!

The Union Club was formed so the business professionals of the city could have a place to gather and meet with their peers to discuss and share new ideas. This remains the Club's main focus as many of the city's top business people from varying disciplines gather to socialize and discuss their ideas. These individuals represent valuable contacts both professionally and socially, and our members can be certain of a high level of discretion.

Formed in 1884 and operating at its current location since 1890, the Victorian showplace that is the Union Club has been and continues to be an integral part of the business and social community of Saint John. The Club is run by its members, for its members, to ensure that they get the most out of their club. It is often our members who are the ones shaping and directing the future of Saint John.

The Union Club is home to members in all areas of the business and professional community and the Club can prove to be a valuable asset when entertaining and socializing. You can always be sure that you and your guests will leave delighted and impressed with the professional and personal treatment that the Club provides. Club membership also gives you the opportunity to meet professionals from various backgrounds who are highly respected and can become important new clients, associates, and friends.

The Union Club is affiliated with more than 50 other private clubs around the world. Through this network our members can enjoy all the facilities these clubs have to offer by simply having a membership with us. These clubs have become an indispensable part of our members' business and pleasure travel needs.

Many special events are planned throughout the year for our members' enjoyment. The Club seeks to offer unique and interesting events to promote an engaging and relaxed social atmosphere, and suggestions from members are always welcome.
